What methods of payment are accepted?
Cheque, money order, Visa MasterCard. Cash purchases and debit card purchases are also available at the Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters offices and the Dream Home showhomes.

What are the Dream Home Lottery ticket prices?
1 ticket for $25; 4 tickets for $60; 10 tickets for $100 & 30 tickets for $200.

How many Dream Home Lottery tickets are available in total?
There are 14,000 tickets printed at $25 each; 12,500 sets at 4 for $60; 13,050 sets printed at 10 for $100; and 6,500 sets of 30 for $200 for a total of 389,500 tickets.

What is Win 50?
It is a 50-50 style draw, where the money received in ticket sales by April 15, 2015 is divided between the winner and the charity.

Can I buy one or the other or both?
You can buy either ticket or both Dream Home and Win 50 tickets. Your Dream Home ticket enters you in the draw to win the Dream Home and Bonus prizes, and your Win 50 ticket enters you in the draw to win half the cash.

What are the Win 50 ticket prices?
1 ticket for $5; 10 tickets for $25 & 30 tickets for $50.

How many Win 50 tickets are available in total?
There are 15,000 tickets printed at $5 each; 17,000 sets at 10 for $25 and 10,000 sets at 30 for $50 for a total of 485,000.

What is the Win 50 prize?
There will be a minimum guaranteed payout of $200,000 or 50% of ticket sales up to $500,000 (whichever is greater).

How long will it take to receive the ticket in the mail?
Please allow 3 - 4 weeks.

How and when will the winners be notified of what they have won?
Winners will be contacted via telephone immediately following the draw. Winner names will be published in the Edmonton Journal and on this website within the week following each draw.

How many prizes can be won in the Dream Home Lottery?
7 prizes including a Grand Prize Showhome valued at $1,000,000; Loyalty Prize of a trip for four people to Maui (or $10,000 cash) and the following Early Bird Prizes:

Can we visit the Dream Home?
Yes. The Dream Street Homes opens to the public on Saturday, January 24th, 2015.
They are located at 22, 24, 26, and 28 Executive Way N., St. Albert, AB
The hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; 12 noon - 5 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays only.

Is the ticket tax deductible / do you get a tax receipt?
The ticket is not tax deductible and no tax receipt is issued as per Canadian Revenue Agency Rules and Regulations.

Who cannot purchase tickets?
Members of the Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Governance Committee and paid staff of the Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area Society and their spouses, along with the staff of Stride Management, are not permitted to purchase or accept Dream Home Lottery tickets on the agency's Dream Home Lottery.

Can tickets be put in the name of a corporation or business?
Yes. Should the ticket be a winner, the prize will be awarded to the corporation or business.

When ordering on-line, do I get a reference number?
Only if you have clicked the corresponding box. This does not mean you have a ticket. Tickets will be mailed out after the credit card charge has been processed. You may wish to call the Ticket Sales Centre for follow up after 3 business days.

Can I choose a specific ticket number?
No. Ticket numbers are consecutive and computer generated.

How many names can be put on a ticket?
In the event that a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to the first name of all individuals identified on the ticket. Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brother Big Sisters and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub. Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters will not add the name of a person under 18 years of age on any ticket.

What happens if I lose my ticket or I can’t find it?
You do not need your ticket to claim your prize. We have all the necessary information to verify the winner. Your name, address & phone number are recorded in the database along with your ticket number. If you have the winning ticket number, you will be contacted by phone. If we cannot speak to you in person, you will receive your prize letter to claim your prize. Photo identification is required to claim your prize.

Proceeds from our Dream Home & Win50 Lotteries contribute to the provision of safe places for kids to be after school and caring, supportive mentoring relationships.
